The following items/checks are INCLUDED in the service offering:
The Basic Service Schedule Charge is for labour of servicing/cleaning of the unit only, and includes the following:
- Includes the first hour on site
- Cleaning of indoor coil
- Cleaning of outdoor coil (High Pressure Washer)
- Checking indoor and outdoor fan motors
- Checking fan blades for damage or out of balance
- Checking all electrical connections
- Checking for oil spots on refrigerant piping
- Checking and cleaning of condensate drains
- Cleaning of filters
- Checking of cooling and heating operation
- Checking refrigerant pressures
- Checking running current
- Measuring on & off coil temperatures (indoor & outdoor)
- Cleaning unit cabinets
- Checking corrosive barriers
- Checking corrosion protection treatments
The service DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Any transport fees/call out fees for installers outside a radius of 10km
- Any additional repairs needed and any parts needed for such repairs
- Any labour costs that requires the technician to stay onsite for a longer period of time than the normal service / inspection fee. If the technician believes something will take longer than the allocated time for the service/ inspection fee, the technician will discuss this directly with the customer.
Any additional costs not included in the minor service amount will be for the consumer’s own account.
